Dock levellers are best fitted when the business premises is being built, however when this is not viable or there wouldn't be enough space for the industrial door inside the building then an external loading house can often be the perfect solution. As loading houses are outside it gives you more room inside the building and the levellers can be insulated to a better level, also there is no need to pay for a costly reconstruction to your premises.
If you need a hydraulic dock leveller you can either choose from a hinged lip or telescopic leveller. The hydraulic levellers can go up to 5 metres, so they can easily help move items from the property into the lorry. The platform can be made up to the size of 2 by 3 metres, and is made to last using a continuous weld seam. Each of the Hormann dock levellers meet the requirements set out in EN 1398.
Hormann flap dock shelters can be adjusted to different lorry sizes so can be used for any lorry you want. The flap dock shelters are available in a range of different models, so can be tailored to your company's bespoke needs. The shelter uses flaps on both the top and sides and uses a quality steel frame for a durable structure that is designed to last. If anything was to happen it is easy to refit a new piece, and parts are made at a low cost.
By using an inflatable dock seal it means the seal fits together around the lorry extremely well, and helps minimise the temperature change from an open door, so less energy is needed to regulate the temperature. After loading is complete the fan can be turned off and the dock will quickly deflate and you can remove the lorry quickly and easily.
If you want the best sealing for when lorries do not have top flaps then the best solution is cushion dock seals, in which the outside of the container and the industrial door kept sealed shut, however they are not suitable for lorries that have top flaps. |
